CBE: Annual inflation rate falls to 8.9% in March

CAIRO, April 10 (MENA) – The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced Wednesday that Egypt’s inflation rate declined to 8.9 percent in March 2019 from 9.2 percent in February of the same year.

On a monthly basis, core inflation recorded 0.5 percent in March, compared to 1 percent in February.
