عقدت شركتا ديا الدولية للنفط ، والسويس للزيت- “سوكو “، الرائدتين في قطاع استكشاف وإنتاج النفط والغاز عالميا ومحليا، ندوة نقاشية خلال شهر مارس الجاري في القاهرة، بمناسبة يوم المرأة العالمي، لتسليط الضوء على الإنجازات التي حققتها المرأة المصرية في الحياة العامة، وفي قطاع البترول على وجه الخصوص، وبحث سبل البناء على هذه الإنجازات لتعزيز دور السيدات مستقبلا وإتاحة الفرصة أمامهن لنيل المزيد من المكتسبات التي تتلائم مع دورهن الهام والحيوي في بناء مصر.
وضمت الندوة كوكبة من أبرز الشخصيات النسائية الملهمة في مصر من أصحاب السجلات المُبهرة في مجال العمل على دعم وتمكين المرأة في المجتمع المصري، بعد أن حققن نجاحات كبيرة في مسيرتهن المهنية، وعلى رأسهن النائبة أنيسة حسونة عضو مجلس النواب، والدكتورة إلهام إبراهيم مفوضة الاتحاد الأفريقي للطاقة والبنية التحتية سابقا، والمهندسة أميرة المازني عضو مجلس إدارة جهاز تنظيم الغاز، والنائب السابق لرئيس الشركة المصرية القابضة للغازات الطبيعية “إيجاس”.
وتأتي الندوة في ظل الاهتمام الذي توليه شركتا “DEA” وسوكو للمرأة المصرية، والذي عبرت عنه الشركتان في عدة مناسبات عبر المساهمة المادية والتقنية في المشاريع الداعمة والمساندة لفتيات ونساء مصر في العمل والتعليم خاصة بالمناطق الريفية، فضلا عن إثراء النقاش العام في مصر حول أهمية دور المرأة بعقد النداوت والمؤتمرات التي تبرز قصص نجاحهن.
وبهذه المناسبة، أعرب المهندس سامح صبري المدير التنفيذي لشركة DEA عن شكره العميق لسوكو لتنظيمهم الجيد للندوة و الشكر للحضور الذين لبوا دعوة المشاركة في الندوة وأضافوا بنقاشاتهم الثرية وخبراتهم الوافرة الكثير من الرؤى والأفكار التي تساعد على تمهيد الطريق أمام سيدات مصر لتحقيق النجاح، وهو ما تصبو إليه شركة DEA التي تعي حجم المكاسب التي ستعود على مصر كلها من تمكين السيدات.
وتابع: “المرأة في مصر استفادت من جهود الدولة الساعية لدعمها وتمكنت من تحقيق انجازت كبيرة خلال السنوات الأخيرة خاصة في قطاع البترول بفضل الدعم المباشر لوزارة البترول المصرية ، وانطلاقا من مسؤليتنا الرامية إلى تنمية المجتمع المصري بشكل عام نسعى إلى بذل المزيد من الجهد لتعظيم دور السيدات الآن وفي المستقبل”.
وأضاف: ” DEA تعمل في مصر منذ 45 عاما وعلى مدى هذه السنوات الطويلة شاركنا في جهود تطوير وتحديث قطاع البترول والتي تضمنت تمكين المرأة وزيادة مساهمتها في أنشطة الطاقة، وقد تكللت جهودنا بالنجاح لاسيما بعد أن أعلنت الحكومة المصرية إن نسبة السيدات العاملات في القطاع قفزت إلى 30% وهي حصة لا يستهان بها”.
وتابع: “كما أثبتنا التزامنا بالعمل في مصر كمستثمر طويل الأجل، نتعهد بمواصلة دورنا البناء في تشجيع الموظفات ودعمهن لتحقيق المزيد من التميز، ضمن جهود أوسع نعمل فيها على اختيار مشاريع خيرية بعناية للمساهمة الدائمة في التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية طويلة الأجل للمجتمع المصري وفقا لتقاليده”.
وتساهم الندوة في دعم جهود الحكومة المصرية لتعزيز دور المرأة، حيث سبق وأعلنت مصر 2017 عاماً للمرأة، كما أصدرت الاستراتيجية الوطنية لتمكين المرأة 2030، وكلفت الحكومة المصرية كل أجهزة الدولة والمجلس القومي للمرأة بالعمل على تفعيل خطط الاستراتيجية وبرامجها ومشروعاتها.
جدير بالذكر أن DEA هي شركة دولية رائدة في استكشاف وإنتاج النفط والغاز، وتتخذ من هامبورج في ألمانيا مقرا رئيسيا لها، وتعمل في مصر منذ عام 1974، وقد استثمرت خلال هذه الفترة مليارات الدولارات في مشاريع مشتركة لتنمية حقول النفط والغاز المصرية، وأنتجت مئات الملايين من براميل النفط في البلاد بالاعتماد على أحدث تقنيات الحفر والإنتاج مستغلة خبراتها الواسعة التي اكتسبتها خلال تاريخها الممتد منذ 120عامًا، ومجموعة الأصول التي تمتلكها في أوروبا وشمال إفريقيا وأمريكا اللاتينية.
أما شركة “السويس للزيت” SUCO فهي الشريك المشغل لكل المشروعات بين تحالف ديا الالمانيه والهيئة المصرية العامة للبترول، وتعمل على تنمية عدة حقول نفطية في مصر مع الالتزام بالمعايير البيئية والحفاظ على الصحة والسلامة العامة لعامليها.

DEA and SUCO hold a symposium on women
in the Egyptian oil and gas industry

DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG and the Suez Oil Company (SUCO held a symposium during March in Cairo to celebrate International Women’s Day. The symposium aimed to highlight Egyptian women’s achievements in society as a whole and the petroleum sector in particular, discussing ways to build on these achievements and enhance the future role of women to help them obtaining more opportunities.
The symposium included a group of prominent Egyptian women with highly-successful careers. These persons included MP Anisa Hassouna, and Dr. Elham Ibrahim, former AU Commissioner for Energy and Infrastructure, and Amira Al-Mazni, former Vice Chairman for Gas Regulatory Affairs in Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company, EGAS.
DEA and SUCO stated during the symposium that both are supportive of Egyptian women through numerous financial and technical contributions supporting women at work and education projects, especially in rural areas. This cooperation is also raising awareness in Egypt on the importance of women’s impact in society by holding seminars and conferences that highlight their success stories.
On this occasion, Eng. Sameh Sabri, CEO of DEA, expressed his deep pride of SUCO for their outstanding organization of the symposium. He also thanked the attendees who responded to the invitation, participated in the symposium and shared their experience in various fields with other women. DEA seeks to empower women and is fully aware of the benefits that will be brought from their empowerment.
“Women in Egypt benefited from the governmental efforts dedicated to support them. They managed to achieve great success in recent years, especially with support of the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum in the oil field. In light of our responsibility to support the Egyptian society in general, we seek to put more effort into maximizing the current and future roles played by women.” he added.
“DEA has been working in Egypt for 45 years. And over the years, we have participated in the development and modernization of the petroleum sector, empowering women and increasing their contribution to energy-related activities. Our efforts have been crowned with great success, especially after the Egyptian government announced that the percentage of women working in the sector increased to 30%, marking a significant growth.” said Sabri.
“We are committed to work in Egypt as a long-term investor. We pledge to continue our constructive role in encouraging and supporting female employees to achieve greater achievements, which comes as part of wider efforts dedicated to support charitable projects and contribute to the long-term social and economic development of Egyptian society.” he added.
Egypt has declared 2017 a year of the Egyptian women and declared the National Strategy for the Empowerment of Egyptian Women 2030, affirming the symposium’s support of the Egyptian government to promote the role of women. Furthermore, the Egyptian government has mandated all state agencies and the National Council for Women to work on implementing strategic plans, programs, and projects.
